I'd like to introduce you to my ukulele, Woody! I've been playing the uke since last August, and I LOVE IT!!!! I've played it in a couple gigs with my band, Inspired By..., and it's been tons of fun! Happy day after Valentine's Day, y'all!! This is gonna be a quick post, but I just wanted to give a quick shout out to Starbucks... I love their Valentine's Day cups!!!! So cute!!!

Royal Gorge

Recently we went to the Royal Gorge, which is this HUGE gorge that kinda reminds me if a mini Grand Cayon! It has the worlds highest suspension bridge over it, which is where the picture takes place. Yes, those are MY feet (I know, they're GORGEous (; haha!), and I'm standing in the middle I the bridge. It felt somewhat creepy standing over a crack on the bridge that I could almost stick my foot through, but hey, I'm working on becoming fearless (not starting out very well...), so it's all good (; but all in all it was an awesome experience!!

The image of a motorcyclist

When I think of a motorcyclist, the image that comes to mind is a gruff guy, maybe in his 50's, with a white beard, wearing a leather jacket. For some reason I don't like it when young guys in like their 20's are riding around on the fancy new motorcycles, wearing sweatshirts and converse... I don't like it (: I saw this guy riding down the freeway next to us, and to me he was the spitting image of a perfect motorcyclist... It made my day! (:

The lamp post

When I saw this lamp post, I was instantly drawn to it. Maybe it was the soft glow of the yellow spheres resting on the top, or maybe it was the angle I saw it from, I don't really know... I just knew that I loved it. It somewhat reminded me of Narnia, when Lucy discovers it. It just has a sense of silent beauty that reminded me of how God is a light, even in the darkest of places!
